Introduction
In
worldwide, the majority of shrimp culture takes place in earthen ponds. In
these ponds, a substantial contribution to the
nutrition of the shrimp is made by naturally
occurring pond biota. This contribution has been showed by gross or
microscopic observation of ingesta, by chemical
indicators such as stable carbon isotope
ratios and muramic acid. Monitoring the natural comminutes of the shrimp
ponds has shown the complexity of the pond ecosystem.
A consideration of the ecological relationships and food pathways in the
shrimp ponds may help to understand the
shrimp growth in earthen pond culture systems. In
principle, fertilizer increases total pond productivity by first
increasing phytoplankton production. This
production promotes increase of zooplankton and
benthic population occurring naturally in the system. By increasing the
natural food supply, an increase in shrimp
growth is also achieved, but the exact linkage
is unclear.
Pond-Prep
is
developed and produced through intensive research. It is a combination
of N-P-K, Amino Acid, and Vitamins that induced natural food to grow
in pond bottom soil to increase productivity. This product can be applied
to the pond during water and pond preparation
or even after stocking. It helps to produce
natural feed organisms and phytoplankton in adequate quantity, nutritionally
excellent in quality and reduces mortality. It balances the soil fertility
level that produces good quality food organisms to
support the growth of post larvae of the
shrimp.
Pond-Prep
contains
important nutrient elements such as nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium,
calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, amino acid, vitamins that produce
good natural food (such as Plankton and Benthos),
improves growth, and produces healthy prawns.
It is highly recommended to use this product to fertilize pond to produce
natural food and rich in nutrients to support and serve the needs of
prawn for faster growth and supplement their food
whenever they want to eat.
Dosage
& Administration
After
harvesting, clean the pond bottom and remove all the black soil, then dry
the pond and plough the soil. After ploughing, allow
the soil to dry until it crakes. Broadcast
hydrated lime into the pond depending on your soil pH. Refill the pond
with water and apply disinfectors. Broadcast
50-100kgs of this product per hectare 5-7
days before stocking into the pond and turn on all your paddle wheels.
