Vector control is any method to limit or reduce the vectors which transmit diseases such as ants, bugs, flies and more specifically mosquitoes. It is necessary that these vectors have to be controlled due to the problems they cause.

Mosquitoes are annoying, causing serious problems everywhere. Mosquito bites can cause severe skin irritation like the red bump and itching. Some species of mosquitoes can transmit dangerous and fatal diseases such as malaria, yellow fever, dengue, filariasis and encephalitis to humans and household pets.

They inject a fluid into their host which results in irritation and inflammation. After a blood meal, they transformed into a dark red expanded creature. They may be found almost everywhere - in bed springs, cracks of floor, picture frames and even clothing. They breed fast and infestation can be heavy.

Flies are insects that can cause significant damage especially to animals such as cattle, swine and poultry which are traditionally farmed in great numbers. Flies may pose serious environmental health hazard as they can carry bacterial infections which can be transmitted to other organisms. Diseases spread by flies include salmonella, smallpox, mastitis, colibacillosis and coryza.
