Agimycin 15% is a broad-spectrum antibiotic premix for growth promotion, improvement of feed efficiency and for the prevention and control of a wide range of disease problems in livestock and poultry due to gram positive and gram negative bacteria.

Agimycin contains Chlortetracycline HCl which is used for the prevention and treatment of respiratory, enteric, systemic and local infections caused by chlortetracycline-sensitive organisms.

It can also control secondary bacterial respiratory invaders and acts as growth promoter.

It is effective against Bacillus, Brucella, Campylobacter, Corynebacterium, Chlamydia, Clostridium, Eschirichiae, haemophillus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Leptospira, Shigella, Staphylococcus, Vibrio and Ricketssia organisms.

Dosage and Administration:

Species Dosage Poultry and Turkeys Mix 1.3 – 2.7 kg per ton of feeds.

Calves and Lambs Mix 3.3 – 4.0 kg per ton of feeds.

All Species (as Growth Promotant) Mix 0.35 – 1.3 kg per ton of feeds.

 

Note: Withdrawal period should be 10-25 days (ruminants), 10 days (pigs) and 5 days (poultry) prior to slaughter.

 

Contraindications:

Oral administration to ruminants with functional rumen is not recommended. Not to be fed to poultry producing eggs for human consumption and pregnant animals (during last 2-3 weeks of pregnancy) and up to 4 weeks of age in neonates Adverse reactions are rare but if they occur, treatment should be discontinued.

 

Storage Recommendation:

Store in a cool and dry place; protected from heat and light.
