Zatox is a combination of mycotoxin binder (hydrated sodium-calcium aluminosilicate) and anti-mold (propionic acid) - two powerful feed preservative that will prevent the growth of molds and spoilage of finished feeds.

Hydrated sodium-calcium aluminosilicate is effective in binding Aflatoxin, Zearalenone, T2 toxin, Ochratoxin and Vomitoxin. These feed mycotoxins are commonly detected in feed ingredients stored at high humidity and high temperature condition. Presence of insect infestation can also contribute to growth of fungi which leads to production of mycotoxins. Use of anti-mold like propionic acid can prevent the growth and reproduction of fungus that causes mycotoxins.

Mycotoxins can have a drastic effect on the overall performance of animals. Zearalenone has direct effect on sows and boars. T2 toxin can damage the digestive tract of the birds while vomitoxin has effect on proper digestion of the pigs. Aflatoxin and Ochratoxin can both infect the immune system of the animals. Feed mycotoxins not only result to poor growth and reproduction but may also leads to death.

Zearalenone can also be transferred from sows to piglets through the milk.

These effects of mycotoxins can be prevented by using a binder that will not only bind and excrete the toxins out of the animal’s body but will also stop the cause of toxin production by using a potent mold inhibitor at the feed production level.

Finished Feed  : Mix 1.0-4.0 kg per ton of feed.

NOTE: Inclusion will depend on moisture level and storage time.
