Amoxy-50 is broad-spectrum penicillin effective against a wide range of infections caused by susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus, Pasteurella and E. coli. It controls and prevents gastro-intestinal infections (including enteritis), respiratory tract infections and secondary bacterial invasion.

Amoxy-50 is well-tolerated and less likely to cause gastro-intestinal disturbances notably diarrhea, because it is completely absorbed in the GIT. It is stable in acid media. It is also completely absorbed in the gastro-intestinal tract even in the presence of feed, thereby reaching high therapeutic concentrations in the blood.

Dosage and Administration:

Poultry
Prevention Mix 100 g per 2000 L drinking water.
Treatment Mix 100 g per 1000 L drinking water.
Swine, Calves, Lambs and Dogs
Administer 0.50 g per 20-50 kg body weight of animal (2 times daily for 3-5 days)

Note: Prepare fresh solutions daily. Use as only source of drinking water during treatment.
Change medicated water every 24 hours

Contraindications:
Oral administration to ruminants with functional rumen is not recommended.
Not to be fed to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.

Storage Recommendation:
Store in cool and dry place. Avoid direct heat and sunlight. Keep the bag tightly closed and out of reach of children.
