Kleenguard contains Dioctyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride, a Twin Chain Quaternary Compound, potentiated disinfectant that can kill a wide range of bacteria, mould, yeasts and protozoa.

It is effective against Staphylococci, Salmonella, and Pseudomonas. Twin chain quaternary compounds are more effective in eradicating gram negative, gram positive, algae and fungi than single chain quaternary compounds. The speed of its biocidal action is rapid. It is flexible in alkaline and acid pH ranges unlike single quaternary compounds which are only effective under alkaline condition.

Kleenguard has long residual activity. It is effective even with the presence of hard water and is non-staining, non-corrosive with low toxicity level.

Dosage and Administration:

Farm Use  / Application / Dilution With Water

For general disinfection of premises and equipment

Before disinfection, remove all animal (poultry or pig) and feedstuffs from house.

Clean difficult areas first before spraying Kleenguard.

Dilute 15 mL to 6 L water.

Dipping hatching eggs

Dip eggs into 43-48°C solution before placing in incubators

Dilute 15 mL to 6 L water.

Disinfection of skin and hands

Dilute 15 mL to 10 L water.

Farrowing Swine

Before disinfection, remove all animal and feedstuffs from house.

Clean difficult areas first before spraying Kleenguard.

Dilute 15 mL to 6 L water.

Disinfection of drinking water

Dilute 15 mL to 30 L water.

For prevention of algae

Dilute 15 mL to 3L water.

Storage Recommendation:

Store in a cool and dry place; protected from heat and light. Storage temperature should not be more than 50oC.
