Oxyzag 200 is a medicated feed additive (oxytetracycline HCL). Oxytetracycline acts as bacteriostatic against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria causing gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by Bordetella, Bacillus, Coryne- bacterium, Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp., and Mycoplasma, Rickettsia and Chlamydia spp.

Oxytetracycline is widely used as a broad spectrum antibiotic against livestock and poultry bacterial diseases. Some studies also proved that this antibiotic has some growth promoting effect when given continously in animal diet.

Mix 10-50 g per ton feed. Feed continuously
Infectious synovitis and fowl cholera
Mix 100-200 g per ton feed. Feed continuously for 7-14 days
Chronic respiratory disease (CRD)
Mix 400 g per ton feed. Feed continuously for 7-14 days
Air sacculitis (air sac infection)
Mix 500 g per ton feed. Feed for 5 days
Swine
Weight gain and improved feed efficiency
Mix 10-50 g per ton feed. Feed continuously.
Note: Not to be given for more than 14 consecutive days.
Contraindications:
Do not use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
Not to be given to animals hypersensitive to tetracyclines.
Storage Recommendation:
Store in a cool dry place (below 30oC); protected from heat and light and keep tightly sealed.
