Zadoxyl contains Doxycycline Hyclate, a broadspectrum antimicrobial acting on aerobic and anaerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, rickettsiae, chlamydiae, and even some protozoa (amoebae). Doxycycline will inhibit the synthesis of protein within susceptible organisms resulting to their death.

Zadoxyl prevents and treats Complicated Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CCRD), Coryza, Fowl Cholera and E.coli infections in poultry. For swine it is effective against respiratory infections such as Aetinobacillus pleuropneumonia, Haemophilus parasuis and Mycoplasma pneumonia. It is also indicated for the treatment of Leptrospirosis, E.coli, Pasteurella and Salmonella infections.
Dosage and Administration:
Species / Dosage
Poultry - (3-5 days medication) Mix 1 g per 1 L of drinking water.
Swine - (5-7 days medication) Administer 100 mg per kg body weight.
Note: Withdrawal period must be 8 days (broilers and fatteners) and 21 days (layers) before slaughtering.
Contraindications:
Should not be given to layer hen producing eggs for human consumption Should not be given to pregnant animals in the last 2-3 weeks of pregnancy and up to 4 weeks of age in neonates
Storage Recommendation:
Store in cool and dry place. Avoid direct heat and sunlight. Keep bag tightly closed and out of reach of children.
