On the morning of 29th January 2021, Zagro’s Ugandan sales representative, Lydia Mants, gathered representatives from the Nakatembe Coffee Producer Organisation, the Coffee Farmers’ Alliance, and a group of coffee plantation farmers to demonstrate two of Zagro’s bestselling crop protection products, Zagro Bravo, and Zagro T-Buzz.
The turnout of the farmers was fantastic, and all were eager to learn about some of the best agronomic practices. The product demonstration was conducted in one of the host farmer’s plantation, and most have the opportunities to try both products first-hand, including the usage and application aspects of the products.
At the end of the training session, several farmers have stepped forward to indicate their deep interest in making purchase orders for both products.
As a result of the resounding success of the training session, Zagro Uganda plans to step up its training outreach to other plantations in 2021, and all Uganda farmers out there, Zagro Uganda will be heading out to your plantations soon, so please do keep a lookout of our schedules.
